Buyer worksheet · local proposals
Compare the whole quote, not just the tub.
Put up to three proposals on the same scope: product and options, delivery, base, electrical, permits, tax, startup, and work the dealer excludes. See what is still unknown before choosing.
01 · Add the offers
Use the same nine cost lines for each dealer.
For a fixed written amount, enter the same low and high. Enter a range only when the proposal gives one. Select “confirmed included / not applicable” only after checking the written scope.
Saved in this browser only.
02 · Read the result
Unknown costs stay visible.
Quoted amount: Use a number from the written dealer proposal. A fixed amount can be entered as the same low and high.
Your estimate: Clearly marked as your planning estimate, never presented as a dealer quote.
Included / not applicable: Marks a line as zero only after you verify that in writing or confirm it truly does not apply.
Unknown: A blank or unpriced line stays open. An incomplete known subtotal is not a complete project total.
Scope confirmation: Required before transfer. Confirm the written proposal addresses every line and the exclusion notes.
03 · Continue planning
Carry a scoped range into the whole-yard plan.
Transfer one offer only after all nine lines are classified and the scope is confirmed. If your range includes your own estimates, that stays labeled in the planner notes. Review any overlap with shared site-work allowances.
What this tool does
Make proposals easier to compare.
It totals your entries: It does not invent delivery, installation, electrical, permitting, or operating prices.
It checks completeness: Missing lines are counted and held out of “complete” totals.
It keeps records local: The worksheet uses browser storage and exports a CSV file you control.
It does not rank quality: A lower amount is not a recommendation. Compare the exact model, included work, warranty, service and exclusions.
